Description

If an apple-a-day keeps the doctor away, what will Apple Ginger Rooibos, with a dose of Honeybush, do for you?

Rooibos was first harvested by the Bantu people of South Africa centuries ago. Rooibos is minerally rich and offers a solid dose of polyphenols with anti-inflammatory, antiviral and antimutagenic properties.

Apples, with their impressive vitamins, phytonutrients and antioxidants, are thought to improve intestinal health, clean teeth, treat anemia, even help prevent heart disease.

Another South African favorite, Honeybush, adds a honey-like flavor and aroma to the blend – along with a host of additional health benefits. According to natural health practitioners, drinking Honeybush can lower blood sugar, calm the nerves and ease the symptoms of menopause.

Lastly, we come to ginger, one of nature’s most powerful natural remedies. Known to contain Gingerol, a substance with powerful healing qualities, ginger has been used for millennia to treat everything from nausea to morning sickness, muscle pain, osteoarthritis, chronic indigestion, lower cholesterol and more.

Apple Ginger Rooibos is as delicious as it is nutritious. Apple Ginger Rooibos is woven with rich, spicy sweet notes layered over soft herbaceous tones. A cup’a day might just be the way.

Teas can be brewed a second time.

How to Prepare

  • For the ideal cup of tea, we recommend using 1 teabag or heaping teaspoon per 8-12 oz of water.
  • We recommend bringing cold water to a boil using the Ideal Brewing Temperature of 212ºF/100ºC.  Then steep the tea from 4-7 minutes.

To maintain freshness of the tea, reseal the bag after opening using the zip-seal tab.
